Setting up personal calendars to subscribe to our Councils calendar

The following is a guide to help subscribe to the our councils calendar of events.  This is to allow our Knight’s events to appear on your PC, tablet or phone calendar.  Our Council’s events and details will be visible on your personal calendar as new events are added.

Most calendar programs or web calendars should easily allow individual calendars like this one to be displayed or hidden. with a simple click.

KOfC3175 Calendar Address (copy and paste per instructions below)

Instructions below for adding to

  • Google Calendar (Web, Android)
  • iPhone/iPad
  • Apple Calendar (Mac)
  • Outlook for Windows
  • Outlook Web App (Windows Live)

Events should appear shortly after calendar address is included.  If you run into problems you can get help  at admin@kofc3175.org.

 

Google Calendar (also used with Android devices)

Note: Following these instructions will also add the KOC calendar to any Android devices associated with that Google account.

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. On the left, next to “Other calendars,” click Add  Addand then From URL.
  3. Enter the calendar’s address in the field provided.
  4. Click Add calendar. The calendar will appear on the left side under “Other calendars.”

iPhone and Other iOS Devices

  1. From your computer, email yourself a copy of the calendar address from the top of this email.
  2. From your iPhone or iOS device, open the email, and click the link.
  3. When the “The calendar “KOfC3175″ has been added” message displays, click Done.
  4. When the “Subscribe to the calendar “KOfC3175”? message displays, click Subscribe.

Apple Calendar Version 8.0 (Mac)

  1. On your Mac, open Launchpad, and double-click Calendar.
  2. From the Calendar menu, click File > New Calendar Subscription.
  3. In the Calendar URL box, paste the KOfC3175 calendar subscription address from the top of this email, and click Subscribe > OK.

Outlook for Windows

Note: Outlook for Mac does not support adding internet calendar (iCal) subscriptions.

  1. In Outlook, at the bottom of the window, click Calendar.
  2. At the top of the calendar, click Home > Open Calendar > From Internet.
  3. Paste the calendar address from the top of this email, and click Add > OK.
  4. Back in the Account Settings window, click Close.

Outlook Web App

Note: Outlook Web App was formerly known as Microsoft Live.

  1. Open your Outlook calendar, sign in, if needed, and click Import.
  2. From the left menu, click Subscribe.
  3. In the Calendar URL box, paste the calendar address from the top of this email, and click Subscribe.
