Our Council

FATHER MCREDMOND COUNCIL

We want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Knights of Columbus, Father McRedmond Council 3175. We are members of the Saint Mary’s Parish Catholic community located in Oak Ridge, TN.

Our Council was founded on October 24th, 1948.  This year marks our 65th anniversary.  Our Church community arose from the dirt and sweat of the early pioneers of the nuclear age.  Our founding members were the early workers that supported the Manhattan Project here in the “Secret City”.

We pride ourselves on “In service to one, In service to all”.  We have supported almost every ministry in our parish including numerous charitable organizations such as the KofC Wheelchair fund, the Special Olympics, St Joseph’s Food bank and Habitat for Humanity!

We are men of faith. Catholic Men guided not only by our belief in God and the Catholic Church, but by our belief in ourselves and in each other.

We are the Knights of Columbus. We are an organization strengthened by the successes of our past and driven by our goals for the future. We are dedicated to making a difference in the five key areas of service: faith, community, family, youth, and fellowship. Since its founding in 1882, the Knights of Columbus has become the world’s largest Catholic, family, fraternal organization dedicated to serving the church and community.
